What are telangiectasia? 

Telangiectasias, also known as spider veins, are dilated or broken blood vessels located near the surface of the skin. They often appears as fine red lines and are found around the nose, chin and legs. It is associated with frequent sun exposure, pregnancy, medical conditions such as rosacea, liver disease and continual topical steroids usage. 

How can we treat it?

Lasers are the mainstay treatment for telangiectasia. It is uses thermal energy to to permanently ablate these blood vessels. Results can be seen immediately.
